It will take a bit of work, but stay tuned for the upcoming changes!

- Initial landing page creation
The team made progress in getting the account creation email validation and initial car detail profile screens, but a little bit more work is needed for those. We are looking to focus on completing the email validation & car browsing features as well as begin creation of initial event management features.
Introducing…. GID
March 2023 – May 2023
After spending several months meeting with prospective partners and relaying our product and vision, one day the stars finally aligned and we connected with Peter Saddington, and the synergy between the teams was immediately apparent . Peter is a fellow car and blockchain enthusiast and what’s more: he had spent the last 5+ years building the largest Web2 vehicle information system, so the fit was perfect. GarageID was officially born!
Peter is also a certified Agile methodology trainer, so under his guidance, the entire project team attended Agile training courses and all members successfully obtained their Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications (5/2023).
We then immediately embraced the Agile methodology and began building the Enterprise Product Backlog (PBL) and decided on an aggressive weekly sprint release cycle. Reviewed all proposed ideas and features and mapped out timelines to release MVP1 with expected delivery in September 2023 to begin beta testing (3 months).
Presentations
January 2023 – February 2023
With the initial Proof of Concept up and running, we began having discussions with our many different contacts throughout the car event ecosystem. At each meeting and demonstration, we collected mountains of feedback and kept continuing the development of features of the application based on feedback.
Continued development on building out the back-end infrastructure for the application, as well as some new features such as NFT management/marketplace and the event management interface for the application.
Proof of Concept
October 2022 – December 2022
With the initial team assembled, we began building the mechanics of the event management application we dreamed up.
We created the initial framework and functionality of the following features:
- Event Maps
- Event Activities
- Vendor/Sponsor Browsing
- Car Gallery/Details
- Car Voting by Category
- Loyalty Points/Wallet
Also began creating initial digital asset/NFT design and marketplace functionality:
Ready, Set, Go!
June 2022 – September 2022
After many internal discussions and brainstorming sessions, the decision was made to assemble the project team and begin building our vision. This consisted of the founders (Senter and Michael), a dedicated creative design/graphics artist (Daniella), and full-time front-end developer (Andres).
We created the initial framework of an event management application with many of the features identified during our discoveries. These included:
- Event Details Page
- Sponsors/Vendors Sections
- Event Maps
- Participating Car Gallery
- Loyalty Points System
- Digital Assets
- Retail Marketplaces
An Idea is Born
April 2022 – May 2022
The idea of a single application to unite the entire automotive ecosystem has been a dream of ours for some time, but in early 2022 we set forth to bring that dream to a reality. With our extensive experience in both the automotive show/racing worlds and in-depth knowledge of the emerging blockchain technology, the idea of GarageID was initially born.
We spent the next few months working with some of the largest auto events in the world and learning the intricacies and mechanics of managing large events, identified many features and opportunities for the application, and set forth to change the world!
