Create an Event

To manage your events, navigate to the My Garage page and click the Events button:

1. Click on the Create New Event button:

2. Click the Add Images button and select one or more images to display on your event’s profile.

Only PNG or JPG images are accepted with a maximum size of 10MB each

3. Enter the title of the event in the Title field:

4. Select the best category for the event; helps provide different event configuration options:

5. Select the starting and ending dates and times of the event in the respective fields:

6. Select if the event is an online-only event or if it has a specific event location

Onsite events will require you to enter an address and then show a Google Map of event location on the event page.

7. Enter a description about the event to be shown on the event page

8. Click the Save and Continue button to progress to the Add Tickets page:

Ticket Information

When creating your event, you will need to create at least one ticket package to allow people to attend your event.  More ticket packages can be added later in the Tickets section of Event Management.  You can have as many ticket packages as you need!

9. On the Add Tickets page, enter a name for the initial ticket package to create.  Multiple ticket packages can be created later for the event.

10. Enter how many total tickets you would like this ticket package to have.  After this quantity has been reached, they will show as sold out in the event’s Tickets section.

11. Select the pricing options for this ticket package.

If Paid is selected, the Price field must be also filled in.

13. Select Ticket Category for this ticket package.  Different categories can have different check-in processes.

Examples:

  • Attendee = Person attending event, general admission
  • Participant = Car participating in the event. Asks to associate a car to the event on check in and shows on the event page.
  • Vendor = Food truck or other vendor.  Asks to register location on check in to show on map

14. Select if this ticket will allow self check in (online) or if the event will be gated and a ticket is checked upon admittance:

15. Specify the start and end date/times for this ticket package to be available for purchase on the event site.  Cannot sell tickets beyond the specified end of the event.

16. Click the Save and Continue button to progress to the Publishing page:

Publish Event

17. On the Publishing page, you can preview what your event page will currently look like.  You will be able to add/edit more information after initial setup.

18. Indicate if you would like your event included in the public directory of all events or if the page is only accessible if you know the event page address.

19. Select if you want to publish your event immediately or continue working on it.  You can schedule a time for the event to be visible or save it in a draft status to manually publish when ready.

20. Click the Save Changes button to finalize the initial setup of your event.

Your event page has now been created and you can continue configuring additional details if you choose (see Manage Event sections below).
