Current Sponsors
Add information about your sponsors to be shown on your Garage. The logo and name will be displayed and link to their website when clicked.
1. Expand the Sponsorship section and click on Add New Sponsor button in the Current Sponsors section
2. Enter the name and website into the fields:
3. Click on the camera icon and select a picture to be shown for this sponsor:
Your sponsor’s information will be visible on your Garage now:
4. To delete a sponsor from being shown on your page, simply click the trash can icon to delete the sponsor record:
Get Sponsored
Once enabled and configured, you can begin accepting sponsorship payments, with either one time or even recurring monthly payment options. Connect your Stripe account and start collecting that sponsorship revenue!
1. Expand the Sponsorship section and enable the Accept Sponsorship Payments option under the Get Sponsored section:
2. Link your Stripe account by clicking the Connect Account button and completing the Stripe linking process (redirects to stripe.com for login):
3. Monthly Budget – Enter the target monthly sponsorship goal you are looking to achieve;
4. Wishlist – Enter any general description or text to be displayed on your sponsorship page in your Garage:
This information will show up on your sponsorship page like this and you can process one-time sponsorship payments:
Sponsorship Packages
You can offer sponsorship package options to be available for sponsors to sign up for. Payments are automatically processed for you monthly and transferred to your Stripe account.
1. Enable sponsorships, connect Stripe account, and enter general sponsorship information (see above for steps):
2. Click the Sponsor Package Options button:
3. To add a new sponsorship package:
a) Click the Add New Sponsorship Package button:
b) Enter Package Name (this is the main title shown for the package):
c) Select how many packages are currently available. Availability will decrease as packages are purchased by sponsors.
d) Enter a description about what this package includes:
e) Click on the camera icon and select a picture to be shown for this package:
The data entered into the following 3 fields help calculate the number and amount of monthly payments for the package.
Monthly payments are calculated by taking the Total Price of the package and dividing it by the number of months indicated by the Season Start/End Dates. For example, a $1200 package that runs from Jan. 1 until Dec.31 would be $100/month ($1200/12mo).
Packages will automatically prorate the pricing details of the package once the season starts and payment details of the package cannot be changed after saving. For example, in March that same $1200 package above would show $900 total price (as there are only 9 months remaining in the season).
Total races is to provide an estimated number of races included in the package. Remaining races are calculated by taking the Total Races and dividing it by the number of months indicated by the Season Start/End Dates. This is then multiplied by the number of months remaining in the season. For example, in March the package would show 9 approximate races remaining (12 races over 12 months total = 1/month; 9 months remaining = 9 races remaining)
f) Enter the Total Races for the sponsorship season:
g) Enter the Total Price of the sponsorship package:
h) Select the start/end dates of the season:
i) OPTIONAL: If you would like to require a deposit for this sponsorship package, enable the Deposit option and enter the amount desired for the deposit.
j) Review package details and calculations in the preview to confirm accuracy (payment options cannot be edited once created):
k) Click the Save button to save the package details and be returned back to the package management screen:
Your sponsorship package will now be visible in your Sponsor This Driver section in your Garage:
4. To edit an existing package, click the Edit (pencil) icon. Only general package information/availability can be edited, not pricing information.
5. To delete an existing package, click the Delete (trashcan) icon. Does not affect any existing payments scheduled for the package.
